Setting up an autopayment

An autopayment is a periodic charge against a stored card without customer interaction. It is enabled after card registration: you set a schedule and an amount (fixed or computed on your side).

Setup procedure

1. Register the customer’s card and receive the binding ID
2. Create an autopayment template: schedule, amount, description
3. VEPAY performs the charges on schedule
4. A webhook arrives for every charge: success or failure
5. On failure, set a retry policy or a customer notification
